After some serious talks (char!), we decided to travel to Macau first and just go to Ocean Park the next day. We asked directions from the inn-keeper on how to get to the Ferry Terminal.
In Hongkong, you have to do a lot of walking. The weather was fine that morning, cold since it's winter, so we were fine with the walking. That day, we had to walk from the hostel to China Ferry terminal. We thought it's just a short walk, but no, it's a 5 km walk! We asked lots of security guards for directions, and they gladly directed us to the terminal. At least we're not lost. :)
We bought round trip tickets. We caught the 10:00 AM trip of Cotai Jet to Macau. We were very excited, not a least bit worried, we knew we'll not be lost, we made it to Disneyland, we knew we can make it to Macau. :)
We arrived at Macau terminal around 11:00 AM. We took every opportunity to take pictures inside the terminal, though we know that it is not allowed.
Grabbing free maps at the lobby, we proceeded to the bus bay and ride the Wynn Hotel bus/shuttle. You can ride buses to casinos from the terminal in Macau for free!
The bus stopped at Wynn Hotel. From there, we agreed to walk going to the ruins of Saint Paul.
We passed by boutiques of the world's most expensive brands, Chanel, Hermes, Gucci, etc.
We also met some Filipino OFW working at Wynn Hotel. If you look at the picture below, he's the one taking that photo, and the other's at our back, the kuya in green vest. :)
It's one fine day and we enjoyed walking around. It's colder in Macau than in Hongkong, I love the weather! There were only few people at that area, so we enjoyed our photo shoot as we passed by different hotels and casinos.
There are lots of Casinos and Hotels in Macau, a real gambling haven. All big and amazingly structured. Grand Lisboa as my favorite. :) We really enjoyed sightseeing and getting around by foot and free shuttles.. :)
Finally, we reached Macau business district, we felt more alive, seeing lots of people walking around and lots of stores selling everything, from clothes to shoes to bags and food! :)
We enjoyed Senado Square a lot! You can see a lot of Filipinos around. I also met my office mate there, Ma'am Ching. It's a small world after all. Never expected that at all, never knew she's on vacation too. :) Indeed, it's good to see someone familiar in a foreign land.
Ruins of St. Paul is located Senado Square, so from Senado Square, we walked, passed by some more stores, asked directions, ate free samples of dried/preserved meat, until we reached the famous Ruins of St. Paul. And near the Ruins of St. Paul is the Macau Museum and the Mount Fortress.
It was nearly dark when we decided to leave Mount Fortress and do some casino hopping again. We looked for free shuttles going to the famous Venetian Hotel. We boarded the shuttle going to City of Dreams casino located just across the Venetian Hotel. At the City of Dreams, we went inside the Hard Rock casino, Meia tried the slot machine. That's my first time entering a casino, and at Hard Rock Casino at that (Sosyal dba?).. :) We wanted to see the bubble show, Bubble Fountain and the Dancing Water theater but didn't know where and how so we just decided to go to the Venetian Hotel. The Venetian hotel is truly majestic and luxurious. There are lots of shops and casinos inside. It is elegantly designed inside. I want to spend my honeymoon there. Yiiiiii! :)
There are lots of places in Macau that we were not able to see. I am definitely going back(later! haha), it truly is a wonderful place, you just can't help but fall in love... :)

Full and satisfied with the food (duck dish again!), we went to Senado Square. It is the center of Macau. You can see lots of stores, amazing pavement design, lots of tourists and colorful chinese new year decorations.
