As we stepped-out the building that Wednesday morning, we were greeted by the cold HK weather, and since it is a big city, lot's of people were already walking the streets to the subway off to work, looking so fashionable in their coats and boots (envious, as usual). Excited and scared we also headed to the subway, we looked for the right train going to our destination. With my mighty little notebook, where I wrote the HK train route, we wandered around the train station for a minute or two, then we met this nice Filipino family and helped us with the right directions. Feeling grateful and still scared, we boarded the right train going to one of the happiest places on earth.....
...DISNEYLAND!!!
Getting off the train at a station somewhere near Lantau Island (forgot what station), we again boarded the disney train, yes, they have their own train, with cute Mickey Mouse windows and comfortable seats.

It's not a long ride to disneyland, and as soon as we arrived at the entrance, we happily took poses for the camera. Here, there and everywhere. With the disney map as our guide, we religiously stopped at each attraction, took all the rides that we can take and took pictures with some disney characters. There are 6 attractions - Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Toy Story Land, Adventureland and Grizzly Gulch which was still not open to the public that time.

At Disneyland, you really have to line up for everything, like if you want to take photos with disney characters, if you want to eat, ride at the attractions, watch the disney theater and even at the comfort rooms!
First stop, we followed the queue so we can have our pictures taken with Mickey Mouse. We waited for like 30 minutes and more (that's how long that line was) just for a photo with the mousey couple. We also took pictures with Donald and Daisy Ducks.

Next stop was at Tomorrowland, where the famous Space Mountain is located. I will not ride this though, not in my lifetime! Meia and Klainey really wanted to ride this, but decided that they will save the best for last. Big mistake! When we went back at noon, it was already closed. :)) Pity, but atleast they have one reason to go back. :))
Following the map, our next stop was at Fantasyland. We first went to see the Golden Mickeys. It is a musical award show featuring different disney characters being nominated for awards.

After the Golden Mickeys, the Disney Characters proceeded with the Disney Main Street Parade. Colorful themed floats liven up the streets, Tinkerbelle as my favorite.. :)

After the parade,
we looked for a place to eat. I love this chinese version of chicken/duck adobo,
though it's not really adobo, it just tasted like one. Food in HK is like gold,
especially when you're inside a theme park. So enjoy the most out of it, like I
did. :))
With a happy
stomach, we continued on our happy disney adventure. Still at Fanstasyland,
next place was at "It's a Small World" (or something..hihi), where we
had to ride a boat and passed by this cutesy miniature dolls with different
country themes.
Then we went to Alice in Wonderland, where there are these
big tea cups that you can ride. And then to Dumbo, to Tinkerbelle and the Merry
Go Round.
Finally done with Fantasyland, we headed off to Toy Story Land. It's an amazing place, with those tall grasses, and the toys exactly like those in the movie. You can ride and see here the Shuttle Coaster speeding on a U-Shaped ride. That's another ride I won't dare taking, not in this lifetime (again).. :) There's also the Slinky Dog Spin and to complete the fun, we went to on to ride the Parachute Drop, it's fun and thrilling, felt like the air was being sucked-out of me and I was screaming all throughout the ride.
There's also this train going around Disneyland, and we thought that we'd ride that after were done with Toy Story Land but missed it since it was already closed. :(

It's dark when we left Toy Story Land. We headed off to Adventure Land, and since already night, and some of the rides closes at 7:00 PM, we only chose one ride, The Rivers of Adventures! You have to ride on a wooden boat, go around a river where you can see some real looking elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, caves with fire and Tarzan's tree house.
We were saving our battery for the fireworks display so we didn't take much photos on this ride.
And finally, we amazingly finished going through all the attractions - amazing because not anyone who visits Disneyland can go to all the attraction, you usually need two days to visit all and try all the rides. So we then looked for a comfortable spot to wait and watch the spectacular disney fireworks display. We sat there, huddled, like wet chicks, it was so very very cold that night. But it's ok, it was worth the wait, the fireworks display was really spectacular!
